Philip's Footprints is a baby loss charity local to me in Jersey. I spoke with Jo Nash, the founder of the charity, for my documentary about how she set up the charity and the impact it made for being a rather small charity on a small island.

Jo set up Phillip's Footprints in 2012, 3 months after the loss of her son Phillip. She tells me in her interview "it was one of those moments in which I just couldn't do nothing." Phillip's Footprints is the only baby loss charity on the island and Jo believed it was something our community was lacking. Since setting up the charity, she has gone on to give out over 300 memory boxes to bereaved parents. The charity also funds antenatal training and equipment which provides information on safer pregnancy and aims to prevent the number of still births and complications at birth for babies in Jersey. Ultimately preventing the lack of baby loss and for families to go through the trauma that Jo herself experienced.
