Editing Process

I used Adobe Audition to edit my radio documentary. Here is a screenshot of what the layout of my documentary looked like. I have four voices within my documentary, and also my own, and so I had to balance them all, whilst still getting across everything I wanted to share. Editing all four interviews down was by far the hardest struggle as they were all over half an hour!

Muisc to me was a very important part of my documentary as I knew it would set the tone throughout. I used many different music tracks that I found through copyright free websites that I felt best reflected the emotional tone of the documentary. I had music through the entire documentary but at a fairly low level so it would not disrupt or take away from the people speaking.

I had a piano chord that started the documentary off and I kept including it throughout at certain points. I also finished the documentary with the same piano chord I started it with, and the same audio clip of Kareena speaking. I felt this gave the documentary quite a full circle experience.
